Women's District Pennant Finals

Buninyong Golf Club made the most of home course advantage to complete a remarkable clean sweep of the Women’s Pennant Finals during the club’s historic 100th year celebrations. With the course presented in outstanding condition and perfect weather greeting players throughout the day, Buninyong’s teams delivered a dominant performance to claim the Division 1, 2 and 3 Shields in front of a strong home crowd.

The Division 1 side defeated Ballarat Golf Club in a tight 3/2 result, while Buninyong’s Division 2 team proved too strong for Midlands (Blue) Golf Club with a convincing 4/1 victory. In Division 3, Buninyong (Red) capped off the perfect day by defeating Ballarat Golf Club 4/1. The clean sweep highlighted the depth of Buninyong’s women’s program and provided a fitting celebration in the club’s centenary year.
