2026 BDG Country Team Announced

Ballarat District Golf is proud to announce our Men’s and Women’s teams for the Golf Australia 2026 Country Week Teams’ Matches, to be held at Ballarat Golf Club, Buninyong Golf Club and Midlands Golf Club from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th September.

The Country Week Teams’ Matches bring together country districts from across Victoria for three days of scratch match play, with both the Men’s and Women’s competitions contested across three divisions.

Ballarat District Golf will compete at the highest level in both competitions, with the Men’s Team contesting the Men’s Shield and the Women’s Team competing in Women’s Division 1.

Jackson Tatt will make his Country Week debut alongside talented juniors Jack Cowan and Rex Hodge, who will also represent Ballarat District Golf at Country Week for the first time.

The Women’s Team will also feature two exciting junior debutants, with Lia Beilfuss and Pearl Goodwin representing Ballarat District Golf at Country Week for the first time.

With this year’s Country Week matches being played on home soil, it is a fantastic opportunity for the local golf community to come along and support our Men’s and Women’s teams as they take on the best country golfers from across Victoria.
