It is with great sadness that the Ballarat District Golf Association advises of the sudden passing of the District Treasurer - Roger Masom.
Roger joined the Ballarat Golf Club in October 1984, he served as a long term Board member, Captain and Club President.
He joined the Ballarat District Golf Association in October 2001 as a committee member and then became treasurer in 2002, a position he held until his passing.
Roger was an integral part of the team who formed the amalgamation between the Men’s & Ladies district in 2015.
He spent many hours enjoying and promoting the game of golf throughout our district and he will be sorely missed by all.
