55 players participated in the Ballarat District 2017 Medallist of the Year which was held at Maryborough on Sunday 15th October.
This was a handicap event and in the Men’s Section the winner was Josh Lacey (Maryborough) with a score of 70-2-68. Runner-up also from Maryborough was Keigh Fankhauser with a score of 72-3-69 and third place went to Daniel Tung (Ballarat) with a score of 81-11-70 on a count back.
The winner in the Women’s section was Judi Guest (Midlands) with a score of 24-26-68. Runner-up Joan Fraser (Beaufort) with a score of 94-22-72 on a count back from third place winner Betty McGuinness (Buninyong) 86-14-72.
