The 2019 Ballarat District Women’s Sandgreen Champaionships were played on Monday 9th September at Talbot Golf Club. The course was in immaculate condition and the early spring weather ensured the players experienced a little bit of all conditions.
The 2019 Open Champion is Avoca golfer Kristie Kennedy with fine score of 79 and Midlands golfer Gai Skinner 3 shots back on 82.
The 2019 Bronze Champion is Midlands golfer Judi Guest who shot 90 with Beaufort golfer Glenis Keilar on 92.
The Open handicap winner was Anne Glenwright Mt Xavier and the Bronze handicap winner was Joan Fraser Beaufort.
The Ballarat District Teams Event was won by Hepburn Springs Team of Julie Guiney, Shirley Rodda and Mary Davis on 224.
